Flash AI – SMS Terms

Last Revised August 19, 2026

These SMS Terms describe the only text message program operated by Flash AI, LLC (“Flash AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”): alerts sent to Flash Signal users when a monitored call is flagged high risk. These SMS Terms supplement our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

  • Message frequency: varies with call activity on the residents and cases you monitor.
  • Cost: Flash AI charges nothing; message and data rates may apply.

1. About this program

Flash AI provides investigative software to law enforcement agencies and government entities. One of our products, Flash Signal, analyzes correctional telephone calls and flags those that show indicators of risk, so that investigators can act on them promptly rather than discovering them days later.

Investigators are frequently away from a workstation. This program lets an investigator choose to be told by text message when a call they monitor is flagged. It exists solely to deliver that operational notification. We do not use it to advertise or promote Flash AI products, to solicit new business, to introduce you to other companies, or to send you anything on behalf of a third party. We operate no other text message program.

2. Messages you will receive

If you enroll a mobile number, you may receive:

  • An alert when a call involving a resident, group, or saved view you monitor is flagged high risk. Alerts identify the call and prompt you to review it in Flash Signal; they do not carry call content.
  • A confirmation message when you first enroll your number, and a confirmation when you remove it or reply STOP.

A typical message reads: “Flash Signal: a call you monitor was flagged high risk. Review it in Flash Signal. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”

3. How you opt in

Text messages are never sent to a number we obtained from anyone other than you. We do not buy, rent, or import phone number lists, and we do not enroll a number on your behalf — not even at the request of your agency. Enrollment happens only inside your own authenticated account, in these steps:

  1. Sign in to Flash Signal.
  2. Open Settings → Notifications.
  3. Under Text message alerts, select Turn on text alerts.
  4. Type your mobile number into the field provided.
  5. Read the consent statement shown in Section 4 below and tick the checkbox beside it. The checkbox is empty by default and you must tick it yourself. If you leave it unticked, the Send code button stays disabled and no message is sent.
  6. Select Send code. We send a single verification code to the number you entered.
  7. Enter that code to confirm the number belongs to you. Enrollment is complete, and alerts begin, only after this confirmation step succeeds.

Agreeing to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of purchasing anything or of using the Services. Flash Signal delivers the same notifications in the application and by email, and those remain available whether or not you enroll a mobile number.

5. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. It depends on how much call activity occurs on the residents, groups, and saved views you have chosen to monitor, and on how many of those calls are flagged high risk. Some days produce no messages at all. We do not send scheduled, recurring, or unsolicited messages.

Flash AI does not charge you for these messages. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages and data according to your plan. Message and data rates may apply.

6. How to opt out

You may cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us. We will send a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further messages to that number. You may also remove the number yourself under Settings → Notifications.

We also honor END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT.

Opting out stops text messages only. It does not close your account, does not affect your ability to sign in, and does not turn off the same notifications in the Flash Signal application or by email.

To resume alerts after opting out, reply START to the same number, or enroll a different number using the steps in Section 3.

7. How to get help

Reply HELP to any message from us and we will respond with support contact details. You can also reach us at support@flashai.us or through our contact page.

8. Carriers and devices

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and device, which are outside our control. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed in all areas or on all devices, so these alerts should not be treated as a sole or guaranteed means of learning about a flagged call. If you change or give up your mobile number, please update or remove it in your notification settings so that alerts are not sent to a number you no longer control.

9. How we handle your mobile number

We use your mobile number and your record of agreement only to deliver the messages described in these SMS Terms and to keep an audit record showing when and how you agreed. We disclose the number to the telecommunications providers that carry the message, acting on our behalf, for the sole purpose of delivering it.

We do not sell your mobile number or your record of agreement. We do not rent, share, or otherwise release either one to any third party for that party's own promotional or commercial purposes. Our full Privacy Policy describes your rights over this data, including how to request its deletion.
