Attachments

Attachments go with a specific conversation. Use them for one-off PDFs, images, or memos you are working through in that chat.

Good practice

  • Attach only minimum necessary pages or files.
  • Remove or delete attachments when the chat is done if policy requires it.

Documents (knowledge library)

Some agencies maintain a document library (SOPs, manuals, templates) that the assistant can draw from across many chats. Those files are usually curated by admins.

Good practice

  • Do not upload classified or restricted material to a library unless your security review explicitly allows it.
  • Prefer official versions of policies, not random PDFs from the open internet.

Suggestions

If the UI offers suggested documents, treat suggestions as shortcuts, not endorsements. Pick what actually applies to your question.
