Use the email and password (or SSO) your administrator gave you. If login fails twice, slow down. Repeated bad attempts can lock the account.
Sign out when you finish on a shared computer or in a public area. Do not leave an unlocked session with sensitive threads on screen.
If your agency requires MFA, keep your authenticator app or token available. Lost-device recovery goes through IT or your admin. Do not bypass MFA with personal email shortcuts if that violates policy.
Use the Forgot password or IT help desk path your organization published. Do not share passwords with coworkers.
You may be logged out after inactivity. Save important drafts in approved places; do not paste secrets into chat to “keep” them.
